Version 8
29 Apr 2024
These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with Prosper general terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, these terms will supersede the general terms where applicable.
This Tier One Offer is only available to the invited individual customer and cannot be shared or passed on to any other individual.
There are two ways to qualify for the Tier One Offer:
- Place money into your Prosper account and also submitted associated investment instructions, within the Offer Period (30 April 2023 to 31 July 2024).
- Initiate a transfer and also submitted investment instructions within the Offer Period.
In either case, The Tier One Offer does not apply to money where no investment instruction has been submitted. The Offer Period may end on an earlier date if the offer has reached £20 million in value. We will send you an email to let you know that the offer has closed early. Funding and transfers and investment instructions submitted via our platform after this date will not be eligible for this offer.
The Tier One Offer has two elements:
- Prosper Fee and Prosper Trading Charge.
- You will not be charged the Prosper Fee on the investments for which you submitted instructions within the Offer Period (currently 0.25%).
- You will not be charged trading fees on trading ETFs submitted in the Offer Period. While we do not maintain an official trading frequency limit, we reserve the right to review your trading activity should we believe that excessive trading is occurring on your account. We have a fair use description which is included in our standard T&Cs. Prosper is designed as a long-term savings platform and is not a day trading platform.
- Fund/ETF Product Charges.
- When you invest in Funds and ETFs you normally incur costs within the fund namely Ongoing Charge Figure (OCF), Transaction Costs, and Incidental costs. For the qualifying funds or ETFs (see below for the qualifying list) that you have invested in during the Offer Period, Prosper will refund these regular charges on an annual basis shortly after the end of the relevant tax year (April 6th to April 5th).
- All other funds/ETFs that are available on the Prosper platform will be subject to their regular charges and will not receive refunds, but the platform element described above will apply.
- Please note that these refunds are not available for customers holding fixed protection pensions.
The terms of this Offer will remain in place until either a Offer Termination Event* occurs, or you sell out of the fund/ETF you have invested in where the Tier One Offer applied (unless this sale takes place within the Offer Period and you reinvest the proceeds in another qualifying fund or ETF). If you subsequently reinvest in the same fund/ETF or any other fund/ETF outside the Offer Period then the Prosper platform fee and regular fund charges will apply.
We reserve the right to alter the tier one offer terms by giving you 30 days’ notice.
